Here is a test shot using the Spiratone Vignetar on a 50mm Yashinon DS-M lens

This is a Spiratone Vignetar special effects lens. It creates a vignette when attached to your camera's lens allowing the subject to stand out. It has an extendable barrel that allows you to change the size of the vignette circle. It works as advertised and is a nice tool to have around. You will experience the typical image cropping (of the top and bottom) with DSL's that have the APS sized sensor.

The Spiratone Vignetar came in at least the two sizes shown. The small unit had 49mm front lens diameter and the larger unit a 58mm front lens diameter. They could be ordered to fit various filter sizes.

Note: The Izumar vignetting lens was the same as the Spiratone. Izumar models were designated by the front lens diameter, the Izumar V-T 49 and the Izumar V-T 58. The Izumar V-T 49 was available in filter sizes 46mm thru 49mm, and the Izumar V-T 58 was available in filter sizes 52mm thru 58mm.
