This is a Spiratone 35mm Macrotar macro Lens. This is the early, small version as opposed to the later, large version as shown in the ad above. This is a very early small version as it just says "macro", slightly later they were changed to read "macrotar". The large version is a different design that made it easier to manipulate the aperture ring. I like the small versions as it allows you to come just a little bit closer to the object. As far as adjusting the aperture, you get used to it quickly. This lens is great for incredibly clear and detailed, larger than life size imaging.
