This is an older timer by Lux. It has an all metal housing and a plastic knob. I believe they made these for some time, with this being an older example. I've seen similar units with screw bosses cast into the housing for attaching a back cover. I've also seen fairly late units (1960's) with printed faceplates placed right over the cast in one. Although this has the same style mechanics as the "long ring" units, it only sounds a single chime at the end of the cycle.
