This is a Detroit watch that dates from ? It has a seven jewel, Swiss made movement. The movement is stamped "Banner Watch Co." The back is stamped "Pioneer Stainless Back". It has a cleaning date of 1945. The side of the case has decorative engraving. The band reads "Stainless Gemex" and may be the original. Gemex bands were very popular for many years.
